GSP, located in beautiful Mystic, CT, is a well known supplier in the graphic arts field. Specializing in used web press equipment, GSP also manufactures the Barstrom Labeler, the leader of in-line high speed labeling. In addition, GSP also stocks and sells stitching wire, press parts, and supplies.

GSP, Inc. was the result of a merger between two companies, namely Spegram, inc. and Geo Graphics, inc.

Spegram (Specialized Graphic Arts Machinery) was founded in 1977 with the goal of exporting US made parts and supplies mainly to Latin America. After excellent success, Spegram introduced Swedish-made high speed on press stitching equipment to the US and Canada. With this introduction came a need for high quality stitching wire. Spegram began importing and selling an excellent quality wire, and today warehouses most common gauges and spool sizes.

Geo Graphics was founded in 1987 and specialized in web offset presses and Bindery equipment. Working out of the same premises for the next six years, it was recognized that there were many duplications of functions. Therefore, in an effort to streamline the two companies, a merger was executed in 1993 creating Geo Graphics-Spegram Inc., with the official name being shortened to GSP, Inc.

Goals and Philosophies

GSP's goal is to become a well known, reliable supplier of equipment, parts, and supplies for the printing industry, both domestically and internationally. GSP will always describe the used equipment truthfully, sell at reasonable prices, and support customers with top-notch installation and training as requested. The key words we hope our customers will use in describing GSP are integrity, honesty, reliability and good product knowledge.
